Underscoring Hindalco’s role as a flagbearer in upholding the Indian Government’s vision to foster superior domestic manufacturing capabilities, the partnership aims to make it possible to produce large-size aluminium extrusion and fabrication technology for the construction of high-speed aluminium rail coaches in India. The collaboration is a crucial step in bringing world-class technology, currently only available in Europe, China, Japan, and a few other nations, to India by fusing Hindalco’s extensive experience in aluminium manufacturing with Metra’s cutting-edge expertise in aluminium extrusion, machining, and welding.
