The Noida Authority has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) to hire transport consultants to create a regional comprehensive mobility plan (CMP) that connects Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, and Hapur with the nearby cities of Delhi, Gurgaon, and Faridabad in an effort to improve connectivity between Delhi and the cities of NCR and western UP. According to officials, the selections were made with the Yamuna Motorway expansion and the future Noida International Airport in mind, among other important infrastructure and development projects.

At the board meeting of the Noida Authority on August 13, 2023, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner Manoj Kumar Singh approved the Regional Comprehensive Mobility Plan. With growth predicted over the next 50 years, the project seeks to cut the travel time to Delhi in half. New connectivity alternatives between Delhi and Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna City, Bulandshahr, Hapur, and New Noida will be investigated as part of the strategy.
