FedEx, a global express transportation and logistics service, announced on Monday that it has teamed up with tech-driven logistics startup iThink Logistics for cross-border shipment. A statement from iThink Logistics claims that the strategic partnership will offer shipping choices and substantial cost savings to e-commerce companies venturing into international markets. Earlier this month, the logistics company and India Post collaborated to ship online orders to remote parts of the country.

According to the organization, small and medium-sized e-commerce businesses usually experience challenges with international shipping because of differing customer expectations and customs rules. For larger purchases, the alliance offers expedited delivery in 3–4 working days using FedEx International Priority Freight.

This allows e-commerce business owners to take advantage of FedEx’s full range of services, which include its International Priority Express and lightning-fast 2-3 days delivery service, among others. Additionally, they can reach more than 220 countries in just two to three days thanks to FedEx International Priority. For larger purchases, the alliance offers expedited delivery in 3–4 working days using FedEx International Priority Freight.
