By the end of 2023, construction on the flagship Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor-Integrated Industrial Township in Greater Noida’s MMLH (Multi-Modal Logistics Hub) near Dadri and an MMTH (Multi-Modal Transport Hub) at Boraki will likely start. With the goal of creating a cutting-edge smart industrial city and offering a plug-and-play infrastructure for non-polluting industries, the integrated Industrial Township was created by the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC)-Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited (IITGNL), a joint venture between DMIC and the Greater Noida Authority.

The MMLH, which occupies 823 acres, will act as a top-notch commodity-handling facility

The Multi-modal Logistics Hub, which occupies 823 acres, will act as a top-notch commodity handling facility and speed up the transportation of goods and raw materials. The logistics centre would include cutting-edge warehouses, custom clearance sections, cold storage, rail platforms, cargo separation spaces, and truck parking bays. Construction costs are projected at Rs 7,304 crore.

According to officials, the Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited is currently in the process of recruiting a project consultant for MMLH, who will oversee both the project’s construction and the preparation of the project’s tender. A 3.5 km rail approach track will connect the logistics cluster to the New Dadri Dedicated Freight Corridor station.

According to officials, Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited is putting the finishing touches on the DPR (detailed project report) and will shortly launch a tender to begin the work.

The GNIL Authority, IITGNL, and the Noida Metro Rail Corporation have all approved metro connectivity

While this is going on, a general consultant is being hired for the MMTH, which will incorporate a train station, an interstate bus terminal, and a metro rail. Nearing completion is the project’s DPR. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, IITGNL, and the Noida Metro Rail Corporation have all approved metro connectivity from the Depot station to the transportation centre. The state government must still give it the go.

The ISBT will be managed by a private player, according to the officials. The Greater Noida area’s seamless passenger mobility will be made possible by the MMTH, which will also present chances for commercial development, including the construction of office buildings, hotels, shopping centres, and retail stores.

A 748-acre integrated industrial township will be built as the project’s third component, roughly 5 km between MMTH and MMLH. Within the industrial township, 168 acres of land have been given to 8 enterprises with a proposed investment of Rs 3,936 billion. Around 12,000 people are anticipated to be employed by these businesses. Additionally, there are proposals to provide non-polluting enterprises access to an additional 150 acres of property that were originally designated for research and development facilities.
