A Welspun One Logistics Parks (WOLP) which is known as an industry leader has recently leased over 4 lakh sq. ft warehousing space to a logistics company Ecom Express in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra and Farrukhnagar Haryana.
According to the deal, Ecom Express has leased the warehousing spaces for a term of 9 years at both the parks, in two separate transactions and these projects are expected to start by the second half of 2022. Talking about Ecom Express than it is a rapidly growing tech-enabled logistics solutions company in India operating over a network of over 2,700 towns.
On this behalf Anshul Singhal the Managing Director of Welspun One Logistics Parks said that, “Our partnership with Ecom Express, at our Bhiwandi and Farukhnagar parks, is a step towards creating a true value-add to our clients’ business propositions. In an environment where the Indian logistics and warehousing sector is experiencing greater demand and increasing modernization, we want to be the most preferred warehousing provider for our clients”.

It is said that through this deal, the logistics solutions company will add to its existing warehousing inventory in these strategic markets of Bhiwandi and Farukhnagar that are thriving logistics ecosystems servicing the consumption centres of MMR and NCR, respectively.
According to the information, Welspun One will be designing the warehouse in both the locations so that it will ensure the maximum throughout efficiency in addition to 100% compliance to norms and stringent safety standards. Later the company also said that, Both the parks are equipped with amenities and utilities to suit the requirements of new age logistics businesses with technology backed solutions towards traffic and parking management along with being a zero-discharge facility.
