Last week, the online bus ticketing service redBus established a collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) to offer online tickets. With the help of this alliance, travellers will have more 24-hour options for purchasing bus tickets on routes within Uttar Pradesh as well as those that depart from the state and travel to other states like Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttarakhand, and Bihar, according to a statement from redBus.

As part of this endeavour, it is now also possible to book UPSRTC bus tickets using the redBus platform. By collaborating with redBus, UPSRTC will also have access to the largest online booking client base,” Additional Managing Director Annapurna Garg of UPSRTC said.

Manoj Agarwala, the chief business officer of redBus, stated that the company sees a sizable possibility for private online ticketing companies to service thousands of bus passengers through digital ticketing.
