DPR Gets Approved To Make A New Railway Line Between Greater Noida & Dadri

Between Greater Noida and New Dadri Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh, a new railway line will be built soon. The integrated industrial complex that is now being built in the area will include the development of this 3.5-kilometer-long railway section.

The Detailed Project Report for the railway line that will connect Greater Noida’s Logistics and Transport Hub to New Dadri Railway Station received permission from the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCI) on Thursday.

Between Greater Noida and New Dadri Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh, a new railway line will be built soon.

The Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited (IITGNL) will finance the railway project, which the DPR estimates will cost Rs 858 crores.

Ritu Maheshwari, the chief executive officer of IITGNL and the head of the Noida Authority, also gave instructions to staff to start the tendering process for hiring a consultant so that work could begin immediately and be finished in three years.

When the rail link is finished, it will be possible to carry merchandise from Greater Noida to Gujarat, Kolkata, and Mumbai in just 24 hours as opposed to the present four to five days it takes to do so.

 

 

The Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited (IITGNL) will finance the railway project, which the DPR estimates will cost Rs 858 crores.

The integrated industrial township project, which spans Bodaki, Chithera, Dadri, Junpat, Kathera, and Pali, is being built in collaboration with the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust and the Greater Noida Authority. Maheshwari claims that the project will produce 100,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The transit hub spans 145 hectares, while the multimodal logistics hub will be built out over 333 hectares.
