All the states should focus on pro-development governance, ease of living, ease of doing business, and provision of robust infrastructure. PM Modi also called upon the chief secretaries to focus on ending outdated laws and rules, and mindless compliances. PM also urged the Niti Aayog to encourage healthy competition between the states and the creation of action plans from the observations made at the conference. At a time when India is initiating unparalleled reforms, there is no scope for mindless restrictions and over-regulation. We should move towards self-certification, deemed approvals and standardisation of forms, he tweeted. The PM also spoke about the development of both social and physical infrastructure along with a focus on the improvement of cybersecurity and discussed the PM GatiShakti NMP.
