Nova Infrastructure announced that Harbor logistics, one of Nova’s existing portfolio companies has acquired ATS (Advanced Transportation System) Logisics Inc., a leading provider of transportation and warehouse operator at a port of Charleston South Carolina, as the infrastructure investment company looks to capitalize on shipping growth there. ATS logistics will operate as part of the growing Harbor Logistic firm, which made its first investment in the Charleston transportation and logistics sector in 2021 and now it’s the market leader in warehouse and drayage capabilities in the market.

ATS logistics is the largest drayage provider for the Port of Charleston and also has asset-based fleets at the port, as well as a strategically located warehouse that includes the only Centralized Examination station for the United States costumes & border protection in Charleston.
Nova Infrastructure said that the company’s roughly 170 trucks move cargo for ocean carriers, shippers, and other customers that use the port, while it also operates 135,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space in the area. The deepwater port is one of the busiest ports in the United States, helping ATS generate roughly 35 million dollars in revenue last year.
