Following a major disaster declaration, the Transportable Temporary Housing Unit (TTHU) programme, in collaboration with the FEMA Individual Assistance Division, offers immediate temporary housing assistance to disaster survivors by supplying modular homes as well as other types of transportable temporary housing. The FEMA Logistics Management Directorate LMD’s TTHU programme is looking for disaster housing planning services to help with direct temporary housing deployment. These solutions may include providing credible, objective, and timely evaluation to determine whether direct housing assistance is required, developing a mission plan for TTHUs, giving clear information about local rules, allowing prerequisites, setup and mass transit restrictions, spots of contact for state and local authorities, and other information required from the TTHU mission Washington, DC perspective.

FEMA Set To Hold Industry Day For Logistics Construction

The FEMA Logistics Management Directorate LMD’s TTHU programme is looking for disaster housing planning services to help with direct temporary housing deployment

On Thursday, December 8, 2022, FEMA will host a Recompete Logistics Construction and Mission Planning Support 2023 Industry Day Event. The goal of this Industry Day Event is to tell local businesses about the planned Recompete Logistics Construction and Mission Planning Support, to solicit industry input, and to request best practices in building efficient processes with realistic response times. Companies must register by 11:00 a.m. E.T. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. The event will take place online over Zoom/Microsoft Teams.
