Ukraine declared complete control of Russia’s eastern logistical hub Lyman, marking its biggest victory in recent weeks and paving the way for further advances meant to reduce Moscow’s supply routes to its battered forces to just one. Vladimir Putin of Russia suffered a crushing loss after declaring on Friday the annexation of four districts that make up roughly a quarter of Ukraine, including Lyman. The declaration has been denounced as an illegitimate sham by Kyiv and the West.
