Digital Catapult is funded by (MSI) Made Smarter Innovation to confront the supply chain challenges for UK based companies and industry. The company unlocks applications for advanced digital supply chain hubs.

Digital Catapult, known as advanced digital technology with UK authority, Made Smarter Innovation is leading industry programme for addressing supply chain woes, they opened the application to business and academia over UK for 25 million.

This Digital supply chain Hub will build a community of large businesses, academic, technology start-up advances for the growth and adoption of cutting-edge digital technology. This project which has been continuing for a four-year period will tackle the critical supply chain challenges as UK based industry and business facing the issues from demand imbalances, supply, risks, resilience and the move to net zero.

This Smarter Innovation, part of the initiative to supercharge UK manufacturing industries and supported by industry leaders, this supply chain digital hub will allow the required improvements in data sharing and analysis for manufactures, this will permit them fast and accurately target in supply chain bottleneck and point out non-essential waste.

The company Digital Catapult has opened the application for 3rd July with funding up to 40k for research challenges and technology led opportunities is up to 80K. The company has chosen to join the Hub which will have access to technical support and industry, they will work jointly with industry sponsors that includes Schneider Electric and BAE Systems.

Made Smarter Innovation gave funds to Digital supply chain Hub at (UKRI) UK Research and innovation, did their collaboration with (HVM) High Value Manufacturing Catapult, NPL and TWI. Digital Catapult research highlights strengthening the supply chain as a preference for nearly two thirds of 64% UK manufacturing.
