Middle East Rail 2022 will provide a platform to support and drive the growth of ambitious transportation projects across the rail, infrastructure, freight and logistics.
Etihad Rail, the developer and operator of the UAE’s national railway network, is set to host the 16th edition of Middle East Rail to outline a roadmap to transform the transportation and logistics industries in the region. The event is going to be held from May 17 to 18 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the event will bring together leaders from the entire transport community, forward-thinking senior executives, key decision makers and government representatives, to discuss on the most important topics and to disclose the latest innovations of the global railway and transportation sector and industry.
Etihad Rail, the developer and operator of the UAE’s national railway network, is set to host the 16th edition of Middle East Rail to outline a roadmap to transform the transportation and logistics industries in the region.
A major transportation event in MENA and the South Asia region, Middle East Rail will see over 600 VIPs, government officials, experts from the GCC’s transport and infrastructure industry with over 6000 attendees, over 200 speakers and over 250 exhibitors. On this the organizers have said that following the last year’s launch of the UAE Railways programme, which will be the largest integrated system for the transportation of goods and passengers across the country, Middle East Rail 2022 is committed to supporting and driving the development of ambitious transport projects in rail, infrastructure, freight transport will provide a platform for logistics. Later on, Engineer Hassan Mohamed Juma Al Mansouri the Undersecretary for Infrastructure and Transport Affairs said that, “there has been a key focus from the UAE’s wise leadership on the land transport sector, particularly the rail industry. Hosting Middle East Rail 2022 consolidates the UAE’s excellence in the transport infrastructure and logistics industries, in order to achieve sustainable development. As a leading event in the railway sector, Middle East Rail 2022 will play a significant role in creating new opportunities for developing the industry”. He also added that, the event will bring together government officials, experts and entrepreneurs, as well as the private sector, enhancing means of cooperation, exchanging knowledge and expertise and showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in this vital field, which accelerates sustainable development and supports national economies, social cohesion and commercial agreements”.
