Indospace is planning to expand its area for the Indian logistics park, this new logistics park at Becharajii and Bavla is located in Gujarat. It is near the state highway which is convenient for industrial and transit hubs.


On Tuesday the developer of industrial and logistics parks of Indospace mentioned, it is expanding its presence in the west region. They made investments in two significant projects which are within these areas of Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

These two facilities cover over 90 acres of area in Becharaji and Bavla in Gujarat. The company does not disclose the quantum of investment in the recent two projects. Vice-Chairman Real Estate from Everstone Group mentions after establishing its solid presence at Chakan in the west region of Pune, they are moving forward to strengthen its presence at India’s industrial hubs, in Gujarat.

Everstone Group, Realterm, and GLP collaboratively promote (Indospace), which means developing an industrial park and warehouse developer for the India logistics park. The company mentions the location of two facilities is ideal for the development of industry, logistics facilities, and warehouses. The park is in Becharaji which is known to be a major place located at Mandal Becharaji (MBSIR) Special Investment region, adjoining near to state highway SH-19. It is accessible to industrial and transit hubs.

Changodar-Bagodara is nearly located at a park in Bavla industrial belts, at the Ahmedabad-Rajkot National Highway 47, it plans to offer Grade A infrastructure to a multitude of large and medium industrial and warehousing developments. Even the company informs manufacturing growth in Gujrat support Grade A infrastructure for the customers across the industry.

The company informs that both logistics parks are well-suited for logistical, industrial, and storage operations. They are able to have speedy access to vital cities from Gujarat. Gujarat exports goods to other countries and this state is known to be a hub spot for global industrial developers and businesses as they have their headquarters in the parks zone.

These global industries developers and major businesses include Honda, Toyota, Maruti Suzuki which comes under the automotive companies.

The biggest network is exposed by Indospace which has a total of 44 logistics parks within the area of 49 million sq. ft and insufficient development is across ten cities. The company has aligned venture between Southeast Asia- focused private equity. Everstone Group, Realterm, and GLP formerly global logistic property are from real estate, based in Singapore.

Even during the pandemic, the demands for warehousing space expanded in the last few years. It is led by penetration of e-commerce and exceeding the growth of third-party logistics. The outbreak of Covid-19 has accelerated customer behavior and expectation, which led to a boost in demand for modernization in warehouses and infrastructure.

As per the experts, when e-commerce got accelerated, the delivery commitments were being fulfilled by the logistics third companies and the need for broadening of choice in supply chain got pushed because of high rise demand for warehouses and logistics. Through the government support by the policy and reforms, it is predicted to boost the infrastructure spending and it demands for modern warehousing.
