Two green corridors were arranged in Telanganaâ€™s Hyderabad on Republic Day for transporting a heart and lungs to two different hospitals in the city.
According to the report Hyderabad traffic police facilitated the transport of the live organs (heart) from Begumpet Airport to Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital Secunderabad and lungs from Yashoda Hospital Malakpet to Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad by providing uninterrupted passage for the ambulance carrying the organs. On Republic day, when the whole nation was celebrating it, meanwhile Hyderabad police were busy arranging a green corridor for transportation of a heart from Begumpet Airport to KIMS Hospital.
