Managing Director and chairman of the company, Anshuman Singh said, the new facilities of the firm will be providing the solutions for the rapidly increasing demand for warehousing the customers now expect deliveries of their shipments at the drop of a hat.

“Stellar value solution is a company that already has 40 facilities of this kind across the nation. The company has opened its first warehousing in the state of Punjab earlier this week and is also aiming to achieve Rs 10,000 crore on the top by FY 2026 on getting back a higher economic growth, shifting of the business to organised sector from unorganised ones, new-age economy and e-commerce boom. This 50 million sq ft grade A+ infrastructure combined with 50,000 Grade A+ transportations systems will require an investment of Rs 30,000 crore”, Singh added.

The new warehousing infrastructure which is spread across the area of 6-lakh sq ft and is located on Banur-Tepla road, offers a great range of options like built-to-suit format, catering to the domestic as well as the multinational companies from the sectors such as FMCG, pharmaceuticals, retail business, fashion, consumer durables, needs, food, engineering, and several other industrial sectors. This infrastructure of 50 million sq ft with Grade A+ transportation systems will require an investment of Rs 30,000 crore, which will work perfectly in coordination with world-class latest technology and designing that will help the business in bringing down both costs and time.

In the last 5-6 years of the drastic change that took place in the business of supply chains, this particular form of business has evolved with e-commerce coming into the picture, the expectations of the customers have gone up due to the food and groceries deliveries taking such a short period of time that makes the overnight deliveries a lacking factor.

‘As part of the renewed strategy, this (Banur) facility will be the standard delivery location or main feeder facility for all the consumption groups in the surrounding areas. Then in each city such as Ludhiana, Amritsar and Chandigarh will have a small cross-docking centre or dark store, which will be inside the city. But this one will be the main feeder facility, making it A+ Grade facility,” Anshuman Singh said.
