In order to attract tourism to the less known states of India, Andhra Pradesh government is planning to improve the tourism sector of the state, starting with the village of Gandikota. As reports said, Gandikota is getting a ropeway very soon, which is going to cost a total of INR 4.50 crore.
Tourism Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao said, “the social infrastructure will be expanded and developed at Borra Caves with an expenditure of INR 2.70 crore and cottages will be constructed with the budget of INR 1.15 crore at Maredumilli. Other than these, many other fun activities are also to be developed like water and adventure sports at the various places in the state of Andhra Pradesh.â€
Despite having beautiful destinations in the region, including fort complex, champavathi river, temples with ancient carvings, waterfalls and many more, Vizianagaram district fails to attract tourists due to lack of amenities and proper transportation facilities. Thus, the state has decided to provide with basic and essential amenities and better transport facilities in the region.

Expressing displeasure to the needy facilities in the places of Vizianagaram district, tourists mentioned that the place has beautiful waterfalls and Tatipudi reservoir but the tourism development department has failed to create the basic amenities and for the visitors due to which the place has disinterested the tourists. If the tourism department resumes the boating and provides the facilities needed by the tourists, the beauty of the place would bring enormous crowd to the spots.
Andhra Pradesh is considered to be one of South India’s recommended destinations, with a lot of beautiful scenic places. Settled in the Eastern Ghats, with a cool climate, Lambasingi is one of the best places to visit in Andhra Pradesh. The climatic conditions and the scenic views of the state has impressed many of the tourists. The state has also suggested the construction of toilets and restaurants at Lambasingi should be done as soon as possible in order to regain tourism revenue at pre-pandemic level. Gandikota is a village destination right near the bank of the Penna River, and there is also a historical fort situated here. Also known as the Grand Canyon of India, making the state’s infrastructure better would certainly give a rise to the tourism. The government of the state was also trying to make structure on permanent basis here, but the plan could not work out. The planned constructions will finally take place and get completed at the estimated cost of INR 3 crore.
The climatic conditions and the scenic views of the state has impressed many of the tourists.
